Carl Woszczynski earned his third clean sheet of the season in the draw, and the fourth for the team overall.
CARTERON LEAVES RISING FOR EGYPT: Phoenix Rising announced Tuesday that head coach Patrice Carteron accepted a head coaching position with Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly SC. Al Ahly SC has a record of 40 national titles, 36 national cups and 10 national super cups making it the most decorated club in Egypt. In international competitions, the club has won a record 8 CAF Champions League titles, a CAF Confederation Cup title, a record 6 CAF Super Cup titles, a record 4 African Cup Winners’ Cup titles, an Afro-Asian Club Championship title, an Arab Club Champions Cup title, and a record 2 Arab Super Cup titles. Rick Schantz was named the interim coach and will coach the club for the remainder of the 2018 season.

Carlos Alvarez, Michael Thomas, Sammy Ochoa and Freddy Adu scored in the victory. Alvarez leads the team in scoring with four goals and three assists on the season, with Joel Huiqui, Alex Mendoza and Daigo Kobayashi each scoring two goals on the season. Ricardo Ferrino is the No. 1 goalkeeper for the club, conceding 20 goals in 11 matches played this season.
