Pricing Information Courtesy of Phoenix Rising FCOn Tuesday night Phoenix Rising FC released their 2019 season ticket information and it brings a lot of changes. Instead of going with a traditional price per ticket model, Phoenix Rising will now offer multiple subscription based services. There are three-month, six-month and 12-month options. You may be saying — but soccer doesn’t quite last for 12 months. That is true, but it’s a way to spread the costs out.
The prices of course vary by section. A three-month Supporters Section subscription will run $29.99 a month, a six-month package will run $24.99 and a 12-month will run $15.99 (the full chart is above). That makes a 12-month package come out to $191.88 per year (before tax). I am a Supporters Section season ticket holder and for three tickets I paid $647.70 with my early bird discount last year. That’s $215.90 per ticket (with tax). That’s before all the Wednesday tickets were eventually credited back to my account to use on upgrading or adding additional 2018 tickets. So it would seem the prices are on par or cheaper than previous years.
When you sign up for a membership you also get lots of added perks. A 12-month subscription comes with a scarf (which is black and copper — a possible hint at jersey colors to come?), t-shirt (same colors), merchandise discount, MLS Priority number, Bring-A-Friend vouchers and $35 in Rising Bucks. The perks go down a bit with each lower subscription.
A few other new perks include an optional “promo pass” for $50. The promo pass allows fans to not have to arrive early to get a bobblehead or other promotional giveaway. Instead, just show up with your pass and go to the sales table to get your item — every single promotional item. One bummer is VIP parking isn’t given out free this year as in past years to early birds, but it’s $10/month (for 12-month members only). Another cool idea is the PRFC t-shirt club for just $10/month you get a shirt sent to you each month that is exclusive to the club and some of them will be made by State Forty Eight.
One optional perk that would actually save me a ton of money is the new Kids club. For just $9/month you get a season ticket (supporters section and sideline seats only), kids scarf, player pizza party and camp discounts for kids 3-12 years of age. My six-year-old mostly plays on her tablet during games, so that discount would come in handy.
Another change with this model is all sideline seats fall under the same category. The 12-month sideline package is $24.99 a month ($299.88 a year) but is good for the best (or worst) seats on the sideline. They all cost the same and will be given out first come first serve. Though it should be said, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Compare that to it costing $800 last year for the prime seats on the center of either side of the pitch on the high end, to $300 a year for the corner seats. That means, for the same cost as sitting in a corner in 2018, you can sit right in the middle in 2019. Pretty cool.
In “these prices are probably too high for you if you are on our site” news, there have been slight changes for the field seats and suites for 2019. Suites have dropped slightly to $1,620 instead of $1,700 and field seats have ticked up a $100 to $2,100 for 2019.
For more information about tickets Phoenix Rising have put together a dedicated page where you can also order your seats as well as a frequently asked questions section. For more comparison to the 2018 season ticket numbers, be sure to go check out last years story.
