8/13/2018 – Rising Rally Falls Short

Before this packed episode covers the usual stuff, we have a heartfelt message from Rising As One co-founder Jeff Wendt (1:15-10:15).

Then Aaron Blau of Firebird Soccer joins Dominic and Kyle to recap Saturday’s wild 4-3 defeat against Orange County SC. The lads nearly turned a 4-0 deficit into a shock draw, but Solo Asante’s hat trick wasn’t enough. (15:00-53:00).

7/30/2018 – Fading into Thin Air

With Kyle in California, Jeff and Dominic recap probably the most disappointing match of this Phoenix Rising season. Phoenix’s hopes of winning the West faded into Utah’s thin air in a humiliating 4-1 defeat, and the guys wonder how this team will get back on track. (2:00-25:00).

Then they preview next Sunday’s match against an eager Timbers II side that looks to continue its unlikely success. (25:00-30:00). The gloom turns into excitement when they discuss PRFC ownership’s visit with MLS Commissioner Don Garber in New York, and what it means for the expansion bid. (30:00-35:00)

In this episode, the full gang recaps Phoenix’s 1-0 win over Sounders 2 and previews Saturday’s massive clash with Real Monarchs.

5/28/18 – Phoenix Drops the Ball

The full gang returns to recap a dreary 1-0 away loss to Swope (3:00-19:00). Then they preview Wednesday’s key battle in St. Louis (19:30-30:00), highlight major wins by Los Dos and Timbers II in the USL scores section (30:00-50:00), and chat about the US Open Cup 4th Round draw (50:00-57:00).

5/21/18 – Double Dose of Defeat

Jeff and Dominic get together to recap a disappointing week for Phoenix Rising. First Dominic recaps Wednesday’s stunning defeat in PKs to lower-division Sporting Arizona FC, gets thoughts from Sporting’s Media Director, Kyle Kepner, and speaks candidly with Jeff about the disappoinment of crashing out so early (1:45-42:00).

Then Jeff takes us through Saturday’s defeat to Sacramento Republic (42:00-1:05:30) and the guys debate whether we should continue playing only three defenders. After that, they preview the upcoming Swope Park Rangers match, get into USL Scores, then tackle some interesting Supporters Section questions to finish the episode.

5/14/28 – Phoenix Brings the Thunder in Oklahoma

After a thrilling win last Friday, the full crew returns to discuss Phoenix Rising’s dominant road wins over OKC Energy (3:00-22:30) and Tulsa Roughnecks (22:30-44:10). Then they preview next week’s matches, which include an Open Cup tie against Sporting Arizona FC (44:30-53:00) and a juicy Saturday night clash with Sacramento Republic (53:00-57:00).

With Jeff attending to family matters this week, Dominic and Kyle recap Phoenix Rising’s iconic 4-3 comeback win over LA Galaxy II (4:00-31:00) The Firebirds fell behind 3-1 at halftime, but the guys relive possibly the most exciting half in this franchise’s young history.

After the guys offer their thoughts on the legendary comeback, they preview upcoming matches at OKC Energy and Tulsa (31:20-44:30). 3/13/2018 – New Season, New Kits!

Dominic returned from New York this week, but his Skype audio is still in preseason form (our apologies)!

In this episode, the gang talks new kits. Billy Forbes explains why the black alternative kits are his favorite, and how he enjoyed the Ecuador trip.

Then they discuss two closed-door preseason tuneups, including one against Oklahoma City Energy. This leads into everyone giving Western Conference predictions, with our podcasters having the biggest disagreement about Reno 1868 and St. Louis FC.
