Phoenix Rising FC continues its road trip through the Midwest as the club tries to stop its two match USL losing streak and three match losing streak in all competitions when they face St. Louis FC, a struggling club sitting below the playoff line in the Western Conference standings.

PHOENIX RISING LAST MATCH: Hadji Berry took advantage of an early mistake by Zac Lubin and beat him in the fourth minute as Phoenix Rising lost 1-0 to Swope Park Rangers for Phoenix Rising’s first road loss of the season. Phoenix mustered few attempts on goal in the match and was unable to put anything past Swope Park goalkeeper Adrian Zendejas. Phoenix will need to apply more pressure in Wednesday’s match to get back on track.

ST. LOUIS REPORT: St. Louis has struggled in its last three, losing twice and earning a draw against Orange County SC. In its last match, St. Louis took a 3-0 loss to Colorado Springs Switchbacks. Former Vancouver Whitecaps and Oklahoma City Energy FC forward Kyle Greig leads the team in scoring with five goals on the season. The rest of the team has six goals on the season. Former Arizona United F Kadeem Dacres sees the pitch for St. Louis. Corey Hertzog and Joey Calistri are also players to watch. Jake Fenlason is the team’s No. 1 goalkeeper, allowing 14 goals in 10 matches played this season with four clean sheets on the season.
