Coming off an impressive 4-0 victory over Las Vegas Lights FC giving interim coach Rick Schantz his first victory in his second stint as Phoenix Rising FC coach, Phoenix Rising hosts winless Tulsa Roughnecks FC to end a short two-game homestand.

PHOENIX RISING FC LAST MATCH: It took a little while for the boys to get going, but a pair of goals from Jason Johnson, and additional goals from Joe Farrell and Solomon Asante gave Phoenix Rising FC the 4-0 win over Las Vegas Lights FC in the first-ever meeting between the clubs. It took Johnson 32 minutes to get his first goal of the night, and added his second on the 77th on a beautiful stop and cross to beat the Vegas goalkeeper. Johnson and Asante tied Chris Cortez for the team lead in goal scoring, as all three have six on the season, and Phoenix Rising remains the top scoring team in the league with 30 goals on the season.

TULSA REPORT: Tulsa lost 3-0 to St. Louis FC last Saturday at home. Two goals from USL Player of the Week Joey Calistri led St. Louis to three critical points. For Tulsa it all starts and stops with Joaquin Rivas. Rivas has six goals on the season, and no one else on the roster has more than one on the season. Paris Gee leads the team in assists with four. Fabian Cerda is the man between the posts for Tulsa, conceding 23 goals in 12 matches played this season. Tulsa last scored on May 26 when Rivas scored in the 16th minute against LA Galaxy II in a 1-1 draw. That is 254 minutes since the club last scored.  Tulsa has scored the least number of goals in the league at 10.

LAST MEETING: Phoenix played at Tulsa on May 12, wrapping up a two-match Oklahoma road trip. Didier Drogba scored a pair of goals, Kevon Lambert, Chris Cortez and Kody Wakasa added to the tally sheet as Phoenix Rising dominated Tulsa with a 5-1 victory.
