Sporting AZ FC, UPSL National Championship runner-ups, is wasting no time in putting together its next squad.  The team has announced open tryouts to take place on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26.

The team will be looking to enhance its existing squad, which is depleted as several players have been called up to the Team USA squad for the upcoming 2018 6v6 World Cup in Portugal.

Sporting has big plans for the coming year.  The squad will be competing in the 2018/2019 Fall/Winter UPSL season, 2019 US Open Cup Qualifying, and will enter the Premier Development League (PDL) in the summer of 2019.  The first round of US Open Cup qualifiers is scheduled for September 22-23.
