It is a tale of quick-they-come quick-they-go for loaned player Tristan Blackmon. The defender, loaned to Rising FC on August 15 from Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) of the MLS, has returned to his home team. Blackmon will fill a slot previously held by 33-year-old Belgian Laurent Ciman, who is reportedly being transferred to the Dijon Football Cote-d’Or of the French Ligue 1.
Blackmon started two matches in his short time with the team. The 22-year-old played well in his short time, with nine clearances, one block, and three interceptions. His departure leaves the team with three center-backs, Joseph Farrell, Doueugui Mala and Mike da Fonte.
It is unknown if Blackmon is eligible to return, but with the MLS transfer window closed, it is unlikely.
